How to distribute a new release with JumpWave Group?Updated a year ago
Distributing your music with Jumpwave Group is straightforward. You can manage releases directly from the Jumpwave Group platform.
Follow these 4 simple steps:
- Log into the JumpWave Artist Portal
- On the side menu, click "Distribution"
- Log into our Distribution Platform
- Create a release
Step 1: Log in to Jumpwave Group
Go to dashboard.jumpwavegroup.com and sign in using your username and password. Next, click "Distribution" and log into our Distribution Platform if prompted.
Step 2: Create a Release on Jumpwave Group
Once logged in, fill out the release information form with details about your release and individual tracks. Below is a list of the information you'll need to provide:

- Release File (cover art and audio file specifications)
- Release Cover (artwork)
- Release Name
- Release Version (optional)
- Main Artist(s)
- Release Date
- Original Release Date (optional)
- Record Label (optional)
- Copyright Information
- Genres/Sub-genres
- Primary Language
- UPC Code (optional)
- Distribution Platforms
- Territories to distribute
🎵 Track Details
- Master Audio Files (one per track)
- Track Name
- Track Version (optional)
- Featured Artists (optional)
- ISRC Code (optional)
- Is the track a cover?
- Does the track have lyrics?
- Is the track explicit?
- Track Language(s)
- Track Preview Duration (optional)
- Song Credits:
- Composer (music)
- Composer (lyrics)
- Producer (optional)
- Mixer (optional)
Step 3: Your release is submitted for approval
To finalize your release , our internal team will review your release to ensure accuracy when being distributed to stores. This process takes any where from 1 - 48 hours.
