If your release artwork contains any of the following prohibited elements, our review team will ask you to make modifications.

Common Issues in Release Artwork

  1. Incorrect Release Information
    • Featured Artists: If your release features other artists, please include the correct artists featured.
    • Release Title: Ensure the title displayed on the artwork matches the official release title.
  2. Copyrighted Images
    • Avoid using:
      • Scenes from movies, TV shows, documentaries, or video games.
      • Illustrations sourced from the internet.
      • Brand logos.
  3. Explicit, Sexual, or Gore Content
    • Platforms strictly prohibit artwork containing explicit, sexual, or graphic imagery. Refrain from including such elements to prevent issues.
  4. Unauthorized Photographs of People
    • Do not use images of individuals (such as artists, athletes, or celebrities) without their explicit consent.
  5. Quality Issues
    • Blurry or Pixelated Images: Ensure clarity in your artwork.
    • Stretched or Distorted Images: Maintain proper proportions.
    • Excessive Blank Space or Small Images: Avoid designs that are too sparse or small to see clearly.
    • Low-Quality Images: Artwork should be of high quality.
    • Incomplete Images or Cut-off Text: Ensure all elements of your artwork are fully visible and complete.


What Happens if My Artwork Contains These Issues?

If your artwork is found to have any of these problems, our review team will mark your release as “Needs Corrections.” You will receive an email notification detailing the necessary changes. Please ensure your artwork meets all requirements before resubmitting for review.
